Co-ops
are the hottest item in today's housing market and CENTURY 21 Schneider Realty
are the area's only co-op specialists. Sherry cut her teeth in the real estate
business buying, selling and managing co-ops. In fact, she handled so many co-op
sales every year that we have set up a Co-op Division within our firm to manage
the volume.
We
recommend co-ops to empty nesters looking to downsize, young professionals or
couples just starting out, or families who aren't quite ready for a house but
want to build some equity instead of continuing to pay rent month after month.
Co-op sales
transactions can be more complicated than a house sale because the bank has to
approve the building and the co-op board must approve the buyer. However co-ops
represent a truly affordable housing alternative in this area, a fact we are eager
to demonstrate to you.
